What kind of metal is vermeil?

Vermeil is 18k gold that is hand gilded onto a solid sterling silver cast piece. It will not tarnish and will last for years and years. How does Amanda Nicol Fine Art + Design ship orders?

All orders are shipped via UPS. Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation that includes the shipping date and the UPS tracking number, which will allow you to track your order directly.

Does Amanda Nicol Fine Art + Design charge sales tax?

Amanda Nicol Fine Art + Design is based in New York State, and therefore must charge sales tax for orders shipped to addresses within the state. Orders shipped outside of New York State will not be charged sales tax.

Is my credit card information secure?

What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock?

We will notify you if the item you wish to order is out of stock. If an item is out of stock, we can ship your order in approximately 2-4 weeks.

What is the Amanda Nicol Fine Art + Design return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with every Amanda Nicol Fine Art + Design purchase. As long as the item you are returning is in it’s original condition, we welcome returns within (7) days of the invoice date for an online credit or even exchange. Please take extra care when packing jewelry. It is best to ship to us using the same container that you've received the merchandise. Please pad the package sufficiently. We will not be responsible for damaged jewelry due to insufficient packaging. The customer is responsible for shipping costs. NO REFUNDS.

Prior to returning your order, please contact us via email ( returns@amandanicol.com) ) or by phone (212-227-4204) for a Return Authorization (RA) number. Please note: you must request an RA number prior to returning an item.

Please write the RA number on the outside of your shipping package, and include a copy of your invoice. When you are ready to ship your item, we recommend using UPS, which offers free insurance of up to $100. For items valued at more than $100, you can purchase additional insurance from UPS. If you use another shipping service (e.g. FedEx, USPS) we recommend buying insurance.

What if I just want to exchange an item?

As with returns, an item may be exchanged within (7) days of the invoice date. Simply follow the directions provided above. Once your item has been received and evaluated for damage, we will contact you via email to let you know that you have a credit available. Simply go to amandanicol.com and choose the piece(s) you’d like.

What if one of my Amanda Nicol Fine Art + Design pieces needs to be repaired?

Amanda Nicol Fine Art + Design guarantees each piece we sell—for 1 month from the date of purchase. If, during this time, your jewelry needs repair due to normal use, you may return the item to us. To return your item for repair, please follow the directions as described above, including contacting us for a Return Authorization (RA) number. There will be a charge for repairs or replacements due to customer negligence.

Items returned with normal wear and tear will be repaired free of charge. However, if your item requires additional repairs, a service charge may apply. If this occurs, you will be notified of these charges prior to any repair work.
